Derzeit verfügen wir leider nicht über eine Rezeption. Zu unseren Bürozeiten sind wir jedoch stets erreichbar.

  • What is included in the overnight price?
    Logi & local tax
  • Is breakfast included in the price?
    When booking, you have the option of booking your apartment with or without breakfast. You can currently get this in the opposite Cafehaus Elmer, until our rooftop bar opens.
  • Can I extend my stay on site?
    Of course. The prerequisite for this is that the apartment is still available on the desired days.
  • Do you offer extra beds/extra beds?
    Unfortunately, we do not have any extra beds at this time. However, you can take off most of our furniture. Information on this can be found under the menu item sgrafit apartment.
  • When will I receive my booking confirmation?
    Your booking confirmation will be sent to you within a few minutes of booking.
  • Can I also book an apartment via Facebook / Instagram?
    Yes of course!
  • Is there a minimum length of stay?
    One night.
  • Can I pay for my reservation with a credit card?
    Of course. You will find a link in the booking confirmation that will guide you through the payment process. There you can then pay with all common cards.
  • What payment options are there on site?
    You can pay for your stay during office hours by debit or credit card or in cash. We would also be happy to send you your invoice.
  • What payment options are there in advance?
    All major credit or debit cards; Transfer.
  • Are the apartment prices valid for the whole year?
    No, our prices are based on different seasons.
  • Where can I find my room key?
    Our apartment building is located at Hauptplatz 13. Our key box is right in front of the green front door, which you can open with the code you received in the arrival email. Please remove the envelope labeled with your name.
  • Where do I deposit the key cards?
    Please return this in an envelope to the key box.
  • Is the access to the key box barrier-free?
    No, there are a few steps to overcome.
  • I booked through booking.com, where do I pay the local tax?
    This depends on your booking. You can find this in your booking confirmation. If you have not yet paid the local tax, please pay it on departure.
  • Can I cancel my Booking.com reservation/booking with you?
    Unfortunately this is not possible. Contact booking.com directly should you wish to make a change.
  • Is there a deposit required to secure my reservation?
    No, there is no deposit required.
  • Is the tax included in the price?
    Yes.
  • Can I bring my dog?
    Dogs are welcome (for a fee).
  • Do you also rent bikes?
    At Hauptplatz 15, two houses down, you will find the sgrafit bike shop, which also has various rental bikes.
  • How do I cancel my reservation? What are the cancellation conditions?
    Cancellations are only accepted in writing to hotel@sgrafit.at. You can find our cancellation conditions in our terms and conditions.
  • Can I make a group reservation?
    For group reservations, we recommend sending an email directly to hotel@sgrafit.at. We will make you a personal offer.
  • Check-In & Check-Out times?
    You can move into your apartment from 2 p.m., check-out is at 10 a.m. Depending on availability, late check-out or early check-in is possible. To do this, please contact hotel@sgrafit.at.
  • Do I have to fill out a guest sheet?
    We ask for a complete entry in the guest sheet before departure. You will find this at the kitchen table in your apartment.
  • What are the advantages of staying at the sgrafit apartment?
    Our sgrafit apartments are fully equipped and centrally located on the main square in Retz. All of our apartments are modern and state-of-the-art. A modern facility and a cozy atmosphere await you for your longer or shorter stay.
  • Can I see the apartment before booking?
    Unfortunately this is not possible. However, you are welcome to view any photos/videos on our website or social media channels.
  • Are there baby cots / high chairs?
    High chairs are available. We don't have cots at the moment.
  • Is there a kettle?
    Yes.
  • What can I expect from a serviced apartment?
    Living like at home, with the comfort of not having to worry about anything.
  • Are the apartments cleaned?
    Of course, our cleaning team will take care of it before and after your departure.
  • How do I use the different devices?
    You will find all the operating instructions for our appliances in the kitchen cupboard.
  • Can friends / family visit me in the apartment? Stay?
    Unfortunately this is not possible. Unless this person has also booked a night.
  • Are towels / bed linen included?
    Yes.
  • Do I need to bring my own hair dryer/hair dryer?
    No, each apartment has a hairdryer in the bathroom.

    Yes, all apartments have an ironing board and iron.
  • Is laundry service offered?
    Unfortunately, this is not possible at the moment. However, each apartment has a washing machine and drying rack.
  • Are there luggage storage facilities in the apartment / building?
    Depending on availability, we have a small storage room where you are welcome to store your luggage.
  • Is there WIFI?
    Yes, every apartment has Wifi.
  • Are there soaps/shower gel in the apartment?
    Of course.
  • What do I do if something breaks during my stay?
    It is best to record this in writing by sending an email to hotel@sgrafit.at .

    Yes.
  • What if I get stuck in the elevator?
    Please remain calm and press the emergency button. A member of staff will contact you.
  • Can the yard be locked?
    Unfortunately this is not possible.
  • Is smoking allowed in the apartments?
    No.
  • Is there extra linen? Towels?
    Yes, you will find extra bed linen and towels in the wardrobe.
  • I need an extra pillow, who do I contact?
    You will find an extra pillow and a cover in the wardrobe.
  • Do you also have side sleeper pillows?
    We don't currently offer this.
  • Is there disabled access?
    Yes, all our apartments are barrier-free.
  • Can I charge my e-bike at your place?
    You are welcome to charge your e-bike in our courtyard.
  • Are your linens/bedding allergy friendly?
    Our bedding and linen are allergy-friendly.
  • Do the apartments have a coffee maker? Do I have to bring my own capsules?
    You will find a Nespresso machine in the kitchen. There are also a few capsules available for free. For longer stays, we recommend taking more capsules with you.
  • Do you have air conditioning in the apartment?
    Yes.
  • Are children welcome?
    Yes of course.
  • Is there a safe in the apartment?
    Yes.
  • Does the apartment have a minibar?
    Unfortunately not at the moment.
  • Is there WIFI?
    Of course! You will find the password in your apartment.
  • What do I do if something breaks during my stay?
    It is best to put this in writing by sending an e-mail to sgrafit@hotel.at.
  • Are towels/bed linen included?
    Yes, you don't have to bring anything with you.
  • Is smoking allowed in the apartments?
    No. Smoking is not allowed in our apartments.
  • Can I park in the main square?
    The Retz main square is a short-term parking zone. Of course you can park in front of the apartment house to unload your luggage. You can find free parking spaces at Jahnstraße 3, which is approx. 400m away from us.
  • When do the cafes on the main square open?
    Café Elmer, which is open from 8 a.m., is right across from our apartment building. Sunday is open from 09:00 a.m.
  • Where can one eat? Opening hours?
    On the main square there is the "Gasthaus zur Stadt Retz"; a few houses further you will find the wine bar "Weinquartier". The "Elmers Café" also offers small meals. Within walking distance you will find the "Moravian Embassy in the Weinschlössl", right next to the outdoor pool. The castle inn "Brand" is right next to the bicycle museum. The hotel "Althof" also offers space in the restaurant.If you don't shy away from a drive, we recommend the "Retzbacherhof" in Unterretzbach, 4km away.Please refer to the respective website for the current opening times.
  • Which wine taverns are within walking distance?
    The vaulted cellar Fasching, the Windmühl Heurigen and the Brandstetter Heurigen.
  • Is the wine cellar open all year round?
    Yes.
  • What activities with children? Playgrounds?
    Summer activities are organized by the municipality of Retz. To do this, please contact them. Retz offers very nice playgrounds. Right next to the multi-storey car park at Jahnstraße 3, there is a playground with a sandbox, swings and animals, etc., next to the nursing home. You will also find one right next to the tourism school at Poisgasse 6, as well as the playground at Anger.
  • Can I park in the main square?

  • Where to eat
    The "Gasthaus zur Stadt Retz", the "Weinquartier", the "Elmers Cafe", the Schlossgasthaus "Brand", the "Althof" and the "Mährische Reach the Embassy in the Weinschlössl''. We can also warmly recommend the ''Retzbacherhof'' in Unterretzbach, 4 km away.
  • Which wine taverns are within walking distance?
    The vaulted cellar Fasching, the Windmill Heurigen and the Brandstetter Heurigen.
